Montero Hill Enters Therapy Post Arrest Involving Officers
Grammy-winning artist the rapper is now receiving intensive treatment, according to his lawyers recently. This update comes after his apprehension last month over several charges involving physical confrontation as well as resisting police.
Court Hearing Reveals Wellness Program
In a court hearing this week, his lawyers informed the judge that the musician was engaged in treatment out of his home state. Presiding Judge Shellie Samuels according to sources authorized the defendant to stay away provided that he persists in the program.
“We’re addressing those issues” and “this is a bump that he’s going to get over”, commented the attorneys.
Context of the Altercation
The arrest occurred in last month after the artist was allegedly moving along a Studio City road without full attire before reportedly advancing toward law enforcement that had approached him.
Montero has pleaded not guilty to three accusations of battery on officers along with one criminal count of obstructing an executive officer.
Musical Success
The artist originally rose to stardom in the late 2010s thanks to his record-breaking hit “his breakout song,” which topped music rankings for nearly five months. Hill eventually earned multiple Grammys.
Case Implications
Should he be found guilty, Hill might receive as much as five years in jail.
Following the event, Hill shared a video on online stating, “I was deeply scared”, although “I will be okay”.
